Como en un juego de niños, la ampliación de esta escuela infantil surge de la estrategia de la diseminación de cubos en planta, lo que genera unos espacios intersticiales de relación entre los mismos. Es esto lo que ocurre en su nuevo acceso, donde se genera un espacio intermedio de transición entre el exterior y el interior del edificio.

Cada uno de esos cubos que articulan el proyecto se entiende como un sólido al que sustraerle parte de su materia. De este modo se pone en valor el vacío, es decir, se busca el espacio habitable dentro del mismo, en este caso, los espacios de enseñanza de una escuela infantil. A la vez, se realiza una búsqueda constante de la luz natural, entendida como uno de los materiales con que se construye dicho espacio.

As in a child’s game, the extension of this nursery school arises from the strategy of the dissemination of cubes on the ground floor, which generates interstitial spaces of relationshipbetween them. Each of these cubes that articulate the project is understood as a solid from which to subtract part of its matter. In this way, the void is given value, that is to say, the habitable space within it is sought, in this case, the teaching spaces of a nursery school. At the same time, there is a constant search for natural light, understood as one of the materials with which this space is constructed.
